Sooooooo this is a repost... I know... but I think it is such an important topic for those newly engaged couples! You're no longer that little girl playing dress up pretending you were the bride, but now you actually are the bride. Now that you have that beautiful diamond ring on your finger, what's next? Most brides will have months to years in between the engagement and the actual wedding. During this "in between" period it can be really easy to get wrapped up in the wedding planning. And don't get me wrong, wedding planning is a blast! But it is also important for you to enjoy this stage of your life as a fiance. Here are some simple ways to do just that:
Quality Time
A lot of the engagement period can be spent planning out the details of your big day with your significant other. Quality time outside of wedding planning can be overlooked. Setting aside quality time for the two of you to spend together free from the stresses of wedding planning is important. Keep going out on fun dates and just enjoying each other's company free from wedding talk. You're only engaged once and you should be spending this time enjoying it together! Take a deep breath, relax, and tune into some quality time with your future hubby.
Don't Do It By Yourself
You already have a vision of what your dream wedding is and you want it to be perfect! Who doesn't!? While it may be a little scary to trust others to help, you don't have to do it by yourself! Find family and friends that want to help you make this day just as special as you do. That's also where we can come in! We may just be the photographers, but we do know a lot about the wedding industry. If you ever need help or even an opinion on anything, we are just one call or text away. You don't have to hold all the stress of wedding planning on your own. We also highly recommend hiring a day of coordinator. They may be pricey, but they are so worth it because they allow you and your family to relax and enjoy the day!

The most important thing is just to have fun with it! Go find that perfect dress! Party with your girls on that bachelorette trip! Go shopping for all those fun bride fits! Just enjoy being a bride and being engaged! It only happens once!
