Let's chat about the essentials that everyone needs to be have for their wedding day. When it comes to all the items you have to pack... well, the list can get long. But don't you even worry because we are here to help! We broke it down for you!

Getting Ready

  • Bluetooth Speaker. So you can jam out with the gals while you're getting ready! Love Story by T Swift is an absolute must
  • Steamer. Make sure to bring at least one steamer along (for both the guys and girls) so you can make sure all those wrinkles are out of the clothes for photos!
  • Snacks and drinks. This one is often overlooked! You can get so caught up in the day, you may forget to have some water and a snack here and there so make sure to pack them. Maybe even designate a person to make sure you are staying hydrated and fueled.
  • Phone chargers
  • Hair spray and setting spray
  • Bride: dress, shoes, veil, jewelry, perfume, engagement ring
  • Groom: tux, tie, belt, shoes, cufflinks, pocket square

Pre Ceremony Items

  • Details bag. The details bag is full of all the little wedding details you want your photographer to photograph. Here's what we recommend putting in this bag:
  • Wedding invites, save the dates, envelope, stamp, wax seal, rings, vow books
  • His: Cologne, watch, shoes, cufflinks, pocket square
  • Her: Perfume, jewelry, shoes, hair pin, veil
  • Marriage license. You'll most likely be signing your marriage license right after the ceremony. We recommend giving this to someone pre-ceremony to make sure it's ready for you right after to sign!
  • Wedding bands. Make sure that whoever is holding these during ceremony gets them before!
  • Boutonnieres and bouquets. Make sure these aren't left wherever you are getting ready and are brought to ceremony site!

Ceremony

  • Vow books
  • Unity items (if using)
  • Ring bearer pillow/box
  • Flower girl baskets
  • Reserved signs for front row
  • Programs

Reception

  • Any change of clothes. You may want to consider bringing some comfy shoes to go along with that reception dress!
  • Table numbers
  • Guest book
  • Card box
  • Seating chart
  • Cake topper/knife
  • Favors
  • Signs

We hope this helps and we are so excited for your special day! Don't let this list overwhelm you. It looks like a lot when it's written out, but we promise it's not as much as you think. Happy wedding planning!
